Auburn's newest park is Dinius Park which is located on East Glenn Avenue. Dinius Park is named after the Dinius family who donated the land and other properties to The City of Auburn. Their only request was the property be used as a passive park. The park is just over 13 acres and will feature 2 dog parks, a large dog park(1.06 acres) and a small dog park(0.48 acres). A natural playground with a family pavilion and restrooms will also be constructed. As many trees as possible will be saved to keep the park shaded and wooded and there is also a pond on the property. There will be mulch and paved trails for walking. Approximately 44 parking spaces will be available.
See the architect's concept plans below for the park's master plan, playground and dog parks.
