The City of Auburn Parks and Recreation Department maintains three tennis facilities, the Samford Avenue Tennis Center, the City of Auburn/Auburn University Yarbrough Tennis Center, and the Indian Pines tennis courts. The Samford Avenue Tennis Center is available to the public free of charge. Courts are available on a first come, first serve basis. The City of Auburn/Auburn University Yarbrough Tennis Center is a joint tennis facility maintained by the City of Auburn and Auburn University and is the home of the Auburn University tennis team and all City of Auburn tennis programs and events. Annual memberships are available. Courts are open to the public on a pay per use basis. Indian Pines is available to the public free of charge. There are 4 hard courts. Courts are available on a first come, first serve basis. The Indian Pines courts are also used for pickle ball, so there are pickle ball boundary lines on them as well.

Samford Avenue Tennis Center

The Samford Avenue Tennis Center is located at 901 East Samford Avenue. The facility features six hard courts available free to the public on a first come, first serve basis. New!!! pickle ball lines now line the courts at Samford. Pickle ball and tennis can now be enjoyed on our newly renovated Samford tennis courts. The Samford courts are also home to the Auburn High School tennis teams. AHS has all of their tennis practices and home matches on the Samford tennis courts.

City of Auburn/Auburn University Yarbrough Tennis Center

The City of Auburn/Auburn University Yarbrough Tennis Center is a joint tennis facility maintained by the City of Auburn and Auburn University and is the home of the Auburn Tennis Team. The facility features 16 clay courts (including a stadium court), 12 outdoor hard courts, and six indoor courts. All tennis clinics, private lessons, and events are hosted at Yarbrough Tennis Center.

Indian Pines Tennis Courts

Indian Pines Tennis Courts offer 4 hard courts free of charge for public use except when reserved for lessons and recreation department activities. It is first come, first serve for use of the courts. There is a concrete backboard with a net line on the side of court 1. There are also pickle ball lines on all 4 courts.
