About

The City of Auburn established its commitment to technology in May of 1996 with the formation of the Information Technology Department (IT). This strategy created the foundation for improving government services through continued development and support of the City's information technology infrastructure and related business. In response to the growing significance of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), the IT department expanded its reach by adding the GIS Division in 2001.
