Sanitary Sewer Division

The City of Auburn Sanitary Sewer Division is well-trained in all aspects of sewer system maintenance, conveyance, and treatment. In addition, we strive to keep abreast of the latest technology and innovations in our field to help provide uninterrupted service to our customers.

The City of Auburn Sewer Collection System consists of the operation and maintenance of:

• 2 Pollution Control Facilities (Sewage Treatment Plants)
• H.C Morgan rated at 9 MGD
• Northside rated at 1.6 MGD
• Approximately 220 miles of sanitary sewer lines
• An estimated 5500 sewer manholes
• 13 sewage lift stations

Sewer Rate Study

Recently, the Auburn City Council was presented with new sewer rate recommendations based on the results of a sewer rate study commissioned by the Council in April 2008.
