The following videos were filmed during the Fall of 2010 as part of Auburn's Year of Alabama Small Towns and Downtowns project in an effort to preserve Auburn's history.


The speaker series featured panel discussions with long-time residents and community dignitaries who shared their insights about Auburn's past and future.

Homecoming Event

November 5-7, 2010 was the official "Homecoming," which was the key event for all Alabama communities participating in the Year of Alabama Small Towns & Downtowns. This event was planned in conjunction with Auburn University and featured the culmination of the speaker series, a tour of Pine Hill Cemetery and a new historic marker unveiling by Auburn Mayor Bill Ham and Dr. Ann Pearson.
