The City of Auburn is looking for citizens with an eye for capturing what makes life in the Loveliest Village on the Plains special to so many. The new City of Auburn web site will incorporate Auburn photography throughout, and City staff would like your help in capturing Auburn's spirit in pictures.

What We're Looking For

From City of Auburn facilities, to the beauty of Auburn's natural surroundings, if you have photographs that represent Auburn that you would like to share, we want to see them. If your photographs get to the heart and soul of Auburn as a community, then they may be the pictures we need to represent Auburn on the web. Of special interest are the sights and landmarks that are unique to Auburn, in pictures that couldn't be taken anywhere else.

How to Send Us A Photo

To submit, simply email your picture(s) to:photos@auburnalabama.org. You may make as many submissions as you like, and there is no deadline for submission. Pictures should be in JPG or PNG format. If you have any questions, please contact us at photos@auburnalabama.org or by calling 501-7200.

Where Your Photography Will Appear

The primary use of your photos will be in the header, as seen at the top of this page. The pictures in the header of the new version of the City of Auburn's website will vary from visit to visit, and from section to section, allowing for the use of a wide variety of pictures. Your photos may also be used in various articles and resources through the website.

Credit Where Credit is Due

Every photo used will receive credit on a special Photo Credits page. Credit will not accompany your photograph everywhere it is used on the web site, but the drop down menus of every page will include a link to the Photo Credits page.

Requirement/Guidelines:

• Pictures must be in JPG or PNG format. Submissions should be emailed to photos@auburnalabama.org.
• Pictures must be taken within Auburn city limits.
• Submitted pictures are subject to use by the City of Auburn in any of the City's Media or publications.
• The City of Auburn is not responsible for additional use or misuse of these photographs by those who capture them from the web site.
• Photographs will be resized and/or reframed as needed to fit available space.
• Not all photographs received by the City of Auburn will be used.
• There is no deadline for submission.
