City Parks - Kiesel Park

Kiesel Park is located at 520 Chadwick Ln.  Kiesel Park is Auburn's largest park, with a pavilion, a garden, a pond, and a 2 1/4 mile walking trail.  The Nunn-Winston house is also located at this park.[parks/note.htm]


If you are driving away from Auburn on Wire Road, you will see this sign.  Turn right here and go 1.1 miles to get to Kiesel Park.

Sundown Concert Series

The Sundown Concert Series at Kiesel Park will kick off Sept. 21 with singer/songwriter Dave Potts. Hosted by the Auburn Parks & Recreation Department, this free concert series will include seven concerts for the community to enjoy throughout the fall. Concerts will be held Thursday nights from 6 ? 7:30 p.m. (unless otherwise noted) at the Kiesel Park Pavilion. Citizens are encouraged to bring family and friends, a picnic supper, lawn chairs or blanket and your dog. (Kiesel Park is a dog friendly park.) The series will feature the following entertainment:

September 21:  Dave Potts
September 28:  The Foxhole Satyrists
October 5:  Saugahatchee Ramblers
October 12:  Clint Darby and Kip Traylor
October 15 (Sun.):  AHS Concert in the Park 1 p.m.
October 19:  Caterpillars of the Community (
postponed due to inclement weather, will be rescheduled at a time to be determined)
October 26:  Auburn Knights (
canceled due to inclement weather, will be one of the featured performances in our Spring Concert series to be held in May 2007)
