Facilities - Pools

The Auburn Parks and Recreation Department maintains two pools in Auburn.  They are Drake Pool, located at 653 Spencer Ave. next to Drake Middle School, and Samford Pool, located at 465 Wrights Mill Road.  The Samford Pool is behind Samford Middle school, which is at 332 E Samford Ave., and the pool parking lot exits onto Samford Avenue.  There are 3 separate pool areas at the Samford Pool:  the main pool, the deep pool (with 2 diving boards, one high and one low), and the children's pool.  The Drake Pool has a main pool and a children's area also.

May 29 - September 4

Recreational Swim (Monday-Friday)
Morning:  9:00am-Noon
Samford Pool:  May 29 - August 10
Drake Pool:  May 29 - June 1, June 18 - July 6
Afternoon:  1:15-5:00pm
Samford and Drake Pools:  May 29 - August 10

Recreational Swim (Saturday and Sunday)
Morning:  10:00-Noon (Saturday only)
Samford Pool only:  June 20 - September 2
Afternoon:  1:15-6:00pm (Saturday and Sunday)
Samford and Drake Pools:  June 3 - September 3

Lap Swim (19 or older)
6:00-7:00am Mon., Tues., Thurs., Fri. (cleaning on Wednesday)
Noon-1:00pm Monday-Saturday
5:00-6:00pm Monday-Friday

The pool fee is $2 per person.
