Auburn, Ala. - Hickory Dickory Park will reopen to the public on Wednesday, Feb. 6. The park has been closed due to blasting associated with the construction of a new sewer line off Shug Jordan Parkway. Auburn Parks and Recreation appreciates the patience of its patrons during construction and invites its youngest patrons to come enjoy Hickory Dickory Park again daily from sunrise to sunset.
Hickory Dickory Park is Auburn's largest playground. Built as a community project, the playground has been one of Auburn's favorite play destinations for over 15 years. A number of Auburn parks feature playgrounds in addition to Hickory Dickory Park, including Felton Little Park, Town Creek Park, Sam Harris Park, Martin Luther King Park, and Duck Samford Park.
