Revert back to the days of funk with the fresh sounds of The Good Doctor! This fresh musical outfit has taken the Auburn scene by storm and is now spreading the medicine throughout the Southeast. Formed in early 2009, The Good Doctor began as a trio of Berklee College of Music graduates, Austin Solomon on bass, Russel Garner on drums, and Jonas Schultz on saxophone and keyboards. The line-up expanded with the additions of Alabama native Chris Deason on trumpet and backing vocals, long-time friends Kenny Heard on vocals and keys, and guitarist Allen Long. The group recently recorded a brand new album, featuring a collection of six original songs now available on iTunes. With influences including Steely Dan, Paul Simon, The Police, Coltrane, The Philadelphia Experiment, many others, you're certain to want to "get fresh and get funky" with The Good Doctor.
