Auburn, Ala. – Dive into summer with the City of
Auburn Swim Team! Auburn swimming returns during the Auburn City Pools 2017
Season. Children ages 4 and up will have the opportunity to make new friends,
hone their skills in the pool and learn a new sport – all while having fun!
For the 2017 season, Erika Kinsaul
will return as Head Coach, bringing more than 25 years of coaching experience
to the City of Auburn Swim Team. Erika is the Head Age Group Coach for Auburn
Aquatics. She has trained dozens of Top 16 national swimmers, State and
Southeastern Champions, as well as coached for the Auburn and Opelika Parks and
Recreation teams. All assistant coaches will be under her direction.
registration will begin on Monday, April 3 at www.auburnaquatics.com and the cost per
child is $160.00, with $10.00 off for each additional child. This means the
first child is $160.00, the second child is $150.00, third child is $140.00 and
four or more children are $50.00 each. The cost of registration includes a
t-shirt, meet and team fees and the end of season party for the team.
team member evaluations will be held on Monday, May 15 from 4 – 5 p.m. at
Samford Pool. Participants
must be able to 25 yards unassisted. Practices will be held Monday, May 15 –
Thursday, May 25 will be from 4 -5 p.m. There will be no practice on Monday,
May 29 in observance of Memorial Day. Regularly scheduled practices will be
Monday - Thursday from 7:45 – 8:45 a.m. at Samford Pool beginning Tuesday, May
