The City of Auburn Parks and Recreation Department is guided by goals set each year in the areas of Public Information, Beautification, Programming, Athletics, Parks, Cemeteries, and Facilities.

The ultimate aim of Parks and Recreation is to provide the Auburn community with quality cemeteries, recreational facilities and recreational activities.

Three divisions represent the Parks and Recreation Department: Parks and Facilities, Administration, and Leisure Services.
