Auburn, Ala. - Auburn Parks and Recreation facilities will be closed on Monday, Nov. 12 in observance of Veterans Day, with the exception of the City of Auburn/Auburn University Yarbrough Tennis Center.  The Tennis Center will observe regular hours from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.  A schedule of holiday hours is available online at www.auburnalabama.org/parks.

The City of Auburn will host its Annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Monday, Nov. 12 at 10 a.m. at the Auburn Veterans Memorial at the corner of Ross Street and Glenn Avenue. Citizens of all ages are invited to attend. The event will include a wreath laying ceremony, along with performance by the Auburn University Choir, Drake Middle School Choir, and bagpiper Dan Drummond.
