Auburn, Ala. - Auburn Parks and Recreation facilities will have special holiday hours for July 4th. All Parks and Recreation buildings will be closed Friday, July 3 in observance of the holiday, with the exception of the Auburn City Pools and the City of Auburn/Auburn University Yarbrough Tennis Center. The Auburn City Pools and City of Auburn/Auburn University Yarbrough Tennis Center will observe regular hours on July 3rd & July 4th with Samford Pool closing at 5 p.m. on July 4th. The Frank Brown Rec. Center will be closed on Friday July 3rd but will be open for regular hours Saturday & Sunday July 4th & 5th. Unless listed, all other facilities are closed. Citizens are reminded all City parks, playgrounds, and cemeteries are open daily from sunrise to sunset.
Don't miss the Annual Fourth of July Celebration, sponsored by Briggs & Stratton Corporation, on Saturday, July 4 behind the home side of Duck Samford Stadium.
