Donahue Drive Closings for May 14 - 16

Auburn, Ala. - Alabama Power Company will close portions of Donahue Drive while crews relocate power poles and transmission lines beginning Wednesday, May 14 through Friday, May 16. Work will begin each day at 7 a.m. The road is expected to reopen by 4 p.m. each day. The following portions of Donahue Drive will be closed:

Bragg Avenue to Porter Avenue	Wednesday, May 14
Glenn Avenue to Magnolia Avenue	Thursday, May 15
Glenn Avenue to Magnolia Avenue	Friday, May 16

This schedule is subject to change in the event of inclement weather. Citizens are encouraged to visit the City of Auburn's website at www.auburnalabama.org to view the latest news on street closings so they may adjust their routes accordingly.

This work is associated with the AL Highway 14 realignment, which includes widening Donahue Drive from Glenn Avenue to Bragg Avenue and rerouting Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive to align with Bragg Avenue. Improvements will also be made at the intersection of Glenn Avenue and Donahue Drive to add protected left turn movements.
