Pajama Time – Second Mondays

Put on your pajamas, grab a blanket and a favorite bedtime “lovey,” and join us for cozy stories, music and family fun during our special Monday evening storytime.”

 

Baby Time – Tuesdays
@ 10:00 am and 1:00 pm

“Babies birth—24 months and their favorite adults enjoy 20 minutes of stories, songs, bounces and tickles during Baby Time. Stay afterwards for socialization and play time!”

 

Toddler Time – Wednesdays
@ 10:00 am and 1:00 pm

“Toddlers 18—36 months and their favorite adults enjoy stories, songs, movement rhymes and a fun craft during Toddler Time. September—December: ABCs! Each week will focus on a different letter (or letters) of the alphabet.”

 

Preschool Time – Thursdays
@ 10:00 am and 1:00 pm

“Preschoolers 3—5 years and their favorite adults enjoy stories, songs, movement rhymes and a fun craft during Preschool Time. September—December: ABCs! Each week will focus on a different letter (or letters) of the alphabet.”

 

Family Storytime –

Poetry for Kids


Members of the Live Poets Society from Auburn University present a poetry program the third Wednesdays September - November @ 4:00p.m. The purpose of this program is to teach poetry appreciation and encourage writing activities. It is recommended for elementary children in grades 3 – 5.
 

September 17 – Students will learn about descriptive forms of setting through the use of Haiku poetry

October 17 – Students will be writing Autumn themed concrete poetry in the shapes of leaves, pumpkins, trees, and other shapes. 

November 15 – Students will create rhyming poetry about things for which they are thankful

Minecraft!  Yu-Gi-Oh!  Pokemon!  Wii Games!
 
First Meeting for 9-12 year olds is Thursday
 September 4th from 4:00 pm-5:00 pm

First Meeting for 13-18 year olds is Thursday
September 18th from 4:00 pm- 5:00 pm
 
All gamers must bring their own gaming materials, video games have to be rated either “E” or “E10”.  Minecraft will be limited to 10 participants.  Minecraft players will need to have a valid Minecraft account.
