Come meet local authors at this fun event! Join us at the Auburn Public Library for the first annual Auburn Author Festival. Each author will be available to sign books and talk to attendees. The event will feature two stages where you can hear about the writing process and more!

Adult Coloring Club
Melt your stress away with a little color therapy! Join us at the Auburn Public Library for an Adult Coloring Club! Bring your own coloring books, or borrow one of ours. We have pencils, crayons, and marking pens.

Show and Tell Book Group
This book group meets every third Monday of the month (except where holidays conflict) to discuss books. This is a “show and tell” book group, so everyone is free to read any book(s) – fiction or non-fiction – and present it to the group. A lively discussion ensues!

Open Mic Night for Community Artists
Do you write music or poetry? Do you sing or play the flute? The Auburn Public Library is proud to host a Community Open Mic Night the first Tuesday of the month. Share your talent with the community in a safe and supportive environment. We will have refreshments and fun!

An interactive three hour course on how to start your own business in Lee County, Alabama and the State of Alabama as a whole. The course will be presented by Brett A. Beginner’s Crochet Class
Have you always wanted to learn how to crochet but didn’t know where to start? The Auburn Public Library will be hosting FREE crochet classes for absolute beginners! In these classes, you will learn five basic stitches: chain stitch, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, and triple crochet! Each class will consist of two 1 ½ hour sessions.
Ages 10 and up: Please register at firstname.lastname@example.org for one class by March 3 to secure your spot! Classes are capped at 6 students, so don’t delay!
What you need to bring: One crochet hook (size H or larger) and one skein of light colored, medium-weight yarn.

Read and Reflect: Book Club for Seniors
Join us at the Harris Senior Center for Read and Reflect, our monthly book club for seniors! Each month, we’ll discuss a particular book that inspires, intrigues, or amazes, including both classic and contemporary works of fiction and non-fiction.
