1	Base	$2,971.20/Month
2	Graduate of Alabama Police Academy; currently Post Certified	$3,060.34/Month
3	Step 2 and two years experience with a comparably sized agency	$3,152.15/Month
4	Five years of experience with a comparably sized agency and two years of investigation experience or three special skills (as needed and determined by the Chief of Police)	$3,246.71/Month
5	Requirements for Step 4 and a Bachelors of Science degree from an accredited college/university	$3,344.11/Month
6	Requirements for Step 5 and a graduate of the FBI National Academy or Instructor rating in three or more Law Enforcement disciplines as determined by the Chief of Police	$3,444.44/Month
