Auburn, Ala – SungChang Autotech (SCA) recently held a dedication event for their newly expanded office facilities at their Auburn Technology Park North location. SCA Officials say the new office space will open the next chapter in the company’s development in Auburn.
"We appreciate the City of Auburn's support and encouragement as SCA grows," said Dr. Daniel Yu, President of SCA, Inc. "We're proud to be a member of the Auburn family, and for the opportunity to contribute to the local economy and community."
SCA opened their manufacturing facility in Auburn in 2004. Since then they have achieved first tier supplier status with Hyundai and Kia as a supplier of plastic injection molded parts for the automotive industry. SCA provides 390 jobs in Auburn and has invested $28 million in the local economy. SCA has contributed to local causes including the Veteran’s Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships annually at the Mayor’s Memorial Day Breakfast.
“We’re proud to celebrate SCA’s success as a local industry providing jobs,” said Auburn Mayor Bill Ham, Jr. “SCA has made a contribution to our economy, and to our community. They’re an excellent corporate citizen and a great success story in Auburn.”
