Bike Bash is our feature event hosted annually and geared towards families and recreation. Bike Bash is an event to encourage bicycling activities, endorse bicycles safety, promote the health benefits of bicycling, and emphasize local bicycle friendly trails and areas. Another fun event occurring in tandem with Bike Bash is the 4th grade participation competition, where a pizza party is thrown for the winners. Reoccurring on the second Saturday of April, the location changes each year so new facilities can be highlighted as they become available. Routes of varying lengths are set up to accommodate all levels of cycling abilities.

This event is supported by local community businesses with monetary and in-kind donations. Door prizes generally include a new bicycle from the local bike shop. Throughout the event, families and cyclists participate in the expos, which include helmet fittings and safety inspections by local bike shop employees. Information on local bicycling activities and groups is provided in the registration packages.
