Youth Basketball

Ages: Open to current 1st-7th graders

Registration: Oct. 15 - Oct. 31 :: Monday - Friday :: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. :: Dean Road Rec. Center

Minimum age 6, maximum age 13.  League play for grades 1-7. 

Players on school teams are not eligible to participate

*Note : The leagues will not be set until after registration. The Athletic Committee reserves the right to move players as deemed necessary according to size, age, and skill level of participants.

Players must be registered to attend tryouts.

 

High School Basketball

Ages: 8th - 12th grades

Boys League Play: 8th & 9th grade boys, 10th - 12th   grade boys

Girls League Play: 8th & 9th grade girls, 10th - 12th   grade girls. 

High School players must enter as a team.  A minimum of 8 players per team and maximum of 10 players are allowed. 

Leagues may be adjusted according to registration.

Registration: Nov. 5 - Dec. 4 :: Monday - Friday :: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. :: Dean Road Rec. Center

Fee, roster, and release forms must be complete and turned in by this date for a team to be entered.  Each roster must have the signature of three parent representatives, one of which will be in attendance at each of the games.  Registration will be taken for the first eight 10th - 12th grade boys teams and the first eight 8th & 9th grade boys teams.  Registration will be taken for the first eight 10th -12th grade girls teams, and the first eight 8th & 9th grade girls teams.  

Game Days and Locations: Game days will be determined after final registration.  All games will be played at Frank Brown Recreation Center.

League Meeting:  Mandatory! Thursday, Dec. 9th at 5:30 p.m. at Dean Road Recreation Center. 

Each team must have a team captain and one parent representative at the meeting.

Season Length: Jan. - March

Adult Basketball

Ages: Adult Men & Women (High school students are not allowed to participate in this league)

Registration: Nov. 12 - Dec. 12 :: Monday - Friday :: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Dean Road Rec. Center

Competition is divided into two leagues and is open to all adults, men and women. The A-League is a faster paced league for more competitive players. The B-League is a slow break league with a spirit of friendly competition. The season ends for each league with a tournament for teams that qualify and championship games.

Game Days & Location: Games will be played at the Boykin Gym. A-League games will be scheduled on Monday and Wednesday nights. B-League games will be scheduled on Tuesday & Thursday nights. Both leagues are subject to play on another night once or twice during the season to provide enough play dates.

Mandatory Manager Meeting: Thursday, Dec 13 at 5:30 p.m. at DRRC.

Season Length: Jan. 9 - March 9
