This year, Auburn CityFest presented by the Opelika Auburn News will celebrate its 10th anniversary featuring thrilling new acts, new and exciting interactive children's activities, yummy food and a wide variety of arts and crafts and fine arts exhibitors. Applications for Fine Arts and Arts & Crafts Exhibitors are currently available on the CityFest website. There is limited space available for exhibitors. Auburn's largest, free outdoor arts and crafts festival will be held Saturday, April 24, 2010 from

Auburn CityFest Juried Art Show and Preview Reception
A juried art show and preview reception will be held in conjunction with Auburn CityFest 2010. The Juried Preview Reception will be held Wednesday, April 21 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Fountainview Mansion. This event is free and open to the public and is held in honor of the Auburn CityFest artists. The works will be on display at CityFest Saturday, April 24 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Historic Nunn Winston House in Kiesel Park. Auburn CityFest is a rain or shine event and admission is FREE. SummerNight 2010 Downtown Art Walk
The City of Auburn,
Auburn Arts Association, Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center and Downtown Auburn
Merchants will host SummerNight 2010 Friday, June 18 from 6 - 9:30 p.m. in
downtown Auburn. This annual event is for local artists and musicians to
display their talents, while offering the community a chance to enjoy an evening
in the downtown area.
Downtown merchants and restaurants will remain open after regular business hours. Citizens are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity and shop, dine and enjoy the downtown atmosphere. Local artists will have their work on display and local musicians will entertain the public on Toomer's Corner. This event will also include children's activities earlier in the evening.
SummerNight is free to the public. Artists, downtown businesses and
restaurants are encouraged to participate in this wonderful event. For
