Auburn, Ala. - The Auburn Arts Association is currently hosting the Spring Invitational 2013 Exhibition: Drawing, on display through Friday, April 19 at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center. A reception honoring the artists will be held on Saturday, March 23 from 3 - 5 p.m. at the Arts Center. The public is invited to attend and explore unique works and visit with the artists and fellow art enthusiasts.

The Spring Invitational features drawings by Ron Bayens, Susan S. Brown, Barbara Fugate, Carlton Nell, Ty Smith, Melissa B. Tubbs and a selection of works by Art Students at Auburn University: Constantia Amegbletor, Mindy Burgess, Jessica Chambliss, Emily Cox, Barclay Crane, Sherrie Griswold, Christian Hamrick, Eli Maple, Caroline Olma, and Emily Quinn.
