Auburn, Ala. - Calling all dog lovers! Auburn Parks and Recreation will host Bark in the Park, an event celebrating responsible dog ownership, on Saturday, March 2 from 9 a.m. - noon at Kiesel Park. This FREE community event is open to all dog owners and their favorite four-legged friends.
Auburn Parks and Recreation is currently recruiting dog-friendly vendors to help make this year's event a success. Booth spaces are FREE and are available first come, first serve. To participate, download a vendor form online at www.auburnalabama.org/parks. Participating businesses must possess a current City of Auburn business license. Arts and crafts vendors with dog-friendly items are also encouraged to apply. Applications should be received by Friday, Feb. 22.
Bring your friends and family, both two-legged and four-legged, and join Auburn Parks and Recreation for a morning of doggone good fun at the park! Visit a variety of educational booths, shop with local pet vendors, take advantage of low-cost rabies vaccinations, and enjoy door prizes and dog-friendly activities all morning. Looking to expand your canine family? Rescue dogs will be available for adoption as well! Mark your calendars and make plans to attend Bark in the Park on Saturday, March 2 at Kiesel Park.
