Auburn, Ala. - Catch the final days of the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center's September Show weekdays from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. in the gallery of the Arts Center. A reception honoring the artists will be held on Friday, Oct. 5 from 5 - 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

The September Show features the works of 13 local artists and 36 pieces showcasing various artistic aspects and media. From traditional oil and watercolor paintings and pastel drawings to encaustic and mixed-media works, this show has something for everyone. Featured artists include Mary Ann Casey, Saramia Arenas, Jeremy Morgan, and Po Wiese. Wiese's work can be seen in eight different pieces, part of which is composed of five ceramic bird vessels.
