Auburn, Ala. - An Auburn University project to repair six traffic lights on Wire Road, disrupted during recent road improvement work and bike path installation, will begin in early June. The three-month project will correct the timing that was altered as a result of the disruption and will seek to reinstate an active detection of traffic. For the duration of the project, one lane of traffic will be maintained and all intersections will remain open. Wire Road intersections affected during the project include those at Samford Avenue, Lem Morrison, Shug Jordan Parkway, Simms Drive, Stonegate Drive and Webster Road.
