Arkal Automotive USA Hosts Grand Opening in Auburn

Auburn, Ala. – ARKAL Automotive USA, Inc. hosted a grand opening for its brand new 32,000 square foot facility on Thursday, May 3 in Auburn Technology Park West.  This is the first U.S. manufacturing operation for the Israeli-based company.  ARKAL will produce durable, life-long plastic parts by utilizing advanced thermoplastic technologies and the latest developments in high-quality materials.

“In the first phase of this project, ARKAL will invest approximately $7.2 million and create 25 jobs and we anticipate even more growth in the future,” said Mayor Bill Ham, Jr., City of Auburn.

ARKAL Automotive, a division of ARKAL Plastic Products, was founded in 1997 and since then, ARKAL has developed a worldwide reputation for design excellence and utilizing state-of-the-art engineering.  ARKAL Automotive headquarters is located in the Northern part of Israel.

“This is the 22nd manufacturing facility of a foreign-based company currently operating in Auburn.  It’s a great testimony to the excellent business atmosphere and living conditions here in Auburn that continues to draw foreign business,” said Mayor Ham.

“The opportunity to further expand in Auburn places us in an ideal location to serve our customers who have operations in the Southern U.S. including some of the leading OEM's and Tier 1 suppliers,” said Ram Drori, General Manager of ARKAL Automotive Plastics. “We’re grateful for the support we have received from the City of Auburn and its Industrial Development Board,” he added.
