Auburn, Ala. - The 2014 Auburn Floral Trail, presented by the Auburn Beautification Council and the Auburn-Opelika Tourism Bureau, is now open. The trail is a self-guided tour through 14 miles of some of the most beautiful spring blooms commercial and residential areas in Auburn have to offer.
Signs indicating trail paths line a variety of routes outlined in the Auburn Floral Trail brochure, available at City of Auburn facilities, the Auburn-Opelika Tourism Bureau, Auburn Chamber of Commerce, and online at www.auburnalabama.org/parks or www.auburnbeautification.com. New this year, the trail includes a secondary optional trail featuring spring blooms in Asheton Park. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the spring season during the 2014 Auburn Floral Trail, going on now through Friday, April 11.
The Auburn Beautification Council is a nonprofit, volunteer organization committed to enhancing the beautification of Auburn. Current projects include the downtown hanging baskets and plantings, Auburn Floral Trail, gardens at Kiesel Park, the Welcome to Auburn signs, and beautification awards presented to Auburn homes and businesses.
