Facilities - Tennis Courts

Yarbrough Tennis Center

The new Yarbrough Tennis Center is located at 777 South Yarbrough Farms Blvd., off of Richland Rd.  When looking up a map online, it is advisable to use the address 1777 Richland Rd., Auburn, AL.  This is not an official address, but most mapping sites are not familiar with South Yarbrough Farms Blvd.

There are 16 outdoor clay courts (including a stadium court), 12 outdoor hard courts, and 6 indoor courts.  All courts are now open for play.  See the blue box below for court fee information.  Please note that CORTA league fees are $4.00 in the absence of other information.

Tennis Center Hours:  9:00am to 9:00pm daily (may close early for special events or holidays).

Directions to Yarbrough Tennis Center

From Columbus, GA:
Take I-185 to Exit 10 (North Columbus Bypass) heading west towards Phenix City.  The bypass leads onto Highway 280. Travel on Highway 280 West towards Opelika.  Take I-85 South towards Montgomery, then follow the directions for I-85 South.

From I-85 South (Traveling Towards Atlanta):
Get off the interstate at Exit 51 and turn left towards Auburn.  Proceed approximately 1.5-2 miles to the intersection with Shug Jordan Parkway/University Dr. and turn left.  Follow Shug Jordan Parkway for about 3.5 miles to Richland Rd.  It is the first left after the intersection with Hwy 14.  You will see a green and white sign directing you to the turnoff to the Yarbrough Tennis Center.  Turn left onto Richland Road and proceed about 0.5 mile. The Yarbrough Tennis Center is on the left.

From I-85 North (Traveling Towards Montgomery):

Court Fees for Yarbrough Tennis Center 

Clay Courts
   Individual: $250
   Family: $400
   Junior: $200

Per time fee: $5.00

Outdoor Hard Courts
If added to clay court pass:
   $50 for individual
   $100 for family

If pass is for hard courts only:
   Individual: $125
   Family: $225
   Junior: $75

Per time fee: $3.00

Indoor Courts
If added to clay court pass:
   $100 for individual
   $250 for family

If pass is for indoor courts only:
   Individual: $200
   Family: $350
   Junior: $150

Per time fee: $7.50

Use of the hard and indoor courts is subject to availability according to the schedules for the Auburn University tennis teams.

Samford Tennis Center

The Samford Ave. tennis courts are located at 901 E. Samford Avenue.  There are 6 hard courts there, which are open for free play.  All city tennis programs are now held at the Yarbrough courts.
