City’s Annual
Fourth of July Celebration Set for Wednesday, July 4
Auburn, Ala.
- Mark your
calendar for the City’s Annual Fourth of July Celebration on
Wednesday, July 4 beginning at 6:00 p.m. behind the home side of
Duck Samford Stadium. Don’t miss the City's largest fireworks show,
sponsored by Briggs & Stratton Corporation and hosted by the Parks
and Recreation Department. Bring a picnic basket or purchase food
on-site from Country’s Barbecue. Gates open promptly at 6:00 p.m.
Enjoy live musical entertainment beginning at 7:00 p.m., followed by
the fireworks display at 9:00 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to
bring a blanket or lawn chairs. In the event of rain, the fireworks
display will move to Thursday, July 5. City officials will continue
to monitor dry weather conditions; however, at this time, officials
feel confident the celebration will be able to continue as planned
with the fireworks display.
The Annual Fourth of July Celebration is a community event that is
free and open to all ages. This is a family event; no alcohol,
please. Join us on Wednesday, July 4 as we celebrate our Nation’s
